I don’t mean it’s inexistent, I mean if I want to study the framework a console system would give me, it’s harder since there isn’t anything public.

And yeah, about the C# thing, only Microsoft uses it as of now.

edit: as it turns out, it seems that the game studio only has compilers for C#. Indeed, it’s all I have used to play with it so far (in the express edition). In practical terms this means that any logic can be made in Visual Basic or C++ since they all compile to the same intermediary language as C#, which then is compiled to binary, but in order to use the proper game-making tools one must code in C#.

The Acid games are sperate eries and not a part of the main story and take place in an alternate thing.

Alternate universe? It seems like the same one to me, but I don’t know. There are a few continuity mistakes (why, after fighting Mantis, wouldn’t Snake believe Alice was psychic?) it would explain.
Yeah, they’re a seperate series, though, the same as Metal Gear is to Metal Gear Solid, but that doesn’t make it lesser in any way.
