A pretty nifty invention

These are cool!

I couldn’t believe this when I saw it. It seems really neat to me, and it actually seems useful too.

Haw, that looks cool

That will be the godsend for students everywhere.

I know what I want for my birthday!

…now I jsut have to make it until September…::Grumble::

The future is now.

That phrase has always pissed me off, because it really doesn’t make any damned sense. =p

Eh. Bionic legs. shrugs

What engineers will come up with next…

:yipee:

That. Is. So. Cool. :expressionless:

I wanna try those on!! Its so easy to imagine full body exo skeletons and stuff coming from this. >.>

CC, you’re such a spoilsport.

Stuff like this is bad, imo. It keeps us from developing human potential and relying more and more on external technology to do stuff for us. I mean, instead of making robotic legs that make you super strong and fast, why not evolve humans to be super strong and fast? Humans themselves just end up getting weaker and stupider the more super-technology we develop. I don’t know if any of you have read the Dune novels, but in that saga humans eventually rebel against technology and start concentrating on human potential, like training people to be Bene Genessirits and Mentats(human calculators) and stuff. I mean, it would be great if stuff like this could save lives, but like I said, from what I see the more techonology like this we develop the weaker in general people become.

Awsome!

Bionic Armor +5!

Whoohoo!

NOTE: I know I posted here already, but I needed to add that.

arghhhhhh Bing mine must be the last comment.

Nice. I wouldn’t mind having that.

Exactly what i was thinking(though haven’t read Dune). Our reliance on technology can make us weak.

Its REALLY NOT that simple to do that kind of genetic engineering. It REALLY isn’t.

Who said anything about genetic engineering? That’s bad too. I’m talking about real evolution.

Evolution is differential reproduction. Trying to forcibly mate specific people with specific genes after screening them not only would take decades before the project could get started with humans, but it would also eventually lead to severe inbreeding and cancel out the effects of what you’re trying to do.

I understand your view, but honestly, people who buy a device like this are going to need two things: the money to buy it and the reason to buy it. The military will buy these not so that the troops can become lazy, but so they can do EVEN more. Of course some people will buy this to be lasy, but somewhere down the line those will become the people who can’t fend for themselves come WW3 or whatever.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That was good!! He’s kinda an idiot, but it was still funny. ::Exhale:: Sundial…whew…::sighs::…ahhh…
