Before the beginning, a colourless, massless substance Enveloped Everything Which Can and Shall Be, and this would come to be known as the Great Void, when there were those there to name it. In the midst of the Great Void was the Eye of the Unknown, the Great Being. In a time far in the future, this Void and the Unknown would be considered nothing. But they would be wrong.
There was Nothing. So much nothing, that it was SOMETHING. Nothing.
The rest of the Unknown lay far outside of the Nothing. It’s Mind thought of everything that could and would be at once, and all that wouldn’t. It’s Mouth spoke in every language that ever and never existed, although It spoke rarely. It’s Body was shaped like nothing you could possibly imagine, or more accurately… everything that everyone could imagine, although there was no-one yet. And It’s Eye focused on the Void.
The Unknown did not like the Void, for It was predictable. It was the Known, a boring splotch of… of… Nothing. It stared coldly at this tiny stain that barely covered It’s Eye, for just a moment (or perhaps Nine Forevers, only Nobody was around to witness this). And then, It did something that would change existance, something so powerful, catyclismic, awe inspiring- that it shook Reality. And changed Nothing, forever.
It blinked.
The massless Void in It’s Eye was instantaneously transformed into something… so full of chaos… so full of order… it was Everything. Everything swirled with random bits of The Unknown’s thoughts. Little things. Big things. Things which had no size. The Universe was born.
The Unknown surveyed Its work with Its single eye. It was still not satisfied. There was a lot of mass, but no substance… and it was still predictable. Although it was Something, it would do nothing. This saddened The Unknown.
The Unknown spoke one word, “Become.”
At this word, the mess of dust and rock and random matter swirled together with great force. Some of these rocks collided, and created large balls of light and heat. Others melted together, these odd rocks becoming ordered spheroids. But some rogue debris decided to stray, to avoid all of this nonsense. They floated across the Universe not succumbing to the immense pressure to BE.
This is currently under construction (obviously), if anybody has any feedback that would be great! And yes, it’s supposed to be a tad confusing, like most creation myths.
