A journey into a place without relevance. (my psp's memory stick)

So for those of you who don’t own a psp, there are a few options in the XMB under the game category. One of these options is the ‘Saved Data Utility’, where you can look through all your game saves and stuff. If you own a psp, chances are you have a memory stick that has 1gb of storage or more, so your saved game data is irrelevant and you never go through the utility. Also, chances are that if you have a psp it is hacked and you go through a ton of games. Today, in honor of me noticing that Demonoid is back, we take a look through my ‘Saved Data Utility’ and remember the good times(well as good as any psp game).

This was a fun little game; you make dungeons for monsters to inhabit, then you go in the next day and clear it out. There are plenty of fun little items that you can get to boost your stats. All the familiar RPG elements are here(if I remember correctly) and will keep you playing for a few days. It is a dungeon crawler where you make the dungeons; what more is there to say?

My rating: 3.5/5 If you put it down you won’t be picking it back up.

This game sounds great on paper, customizable classes, big levels, and all that other SWBattlefront genius, but its not. The offline play is okay the first time around, but after a while it gets repetitive and slow. The online has more hackers than a bad Sci-Fi movie, which is only made worse by the perpetual lag that seems to follow you into Ad-hoc multiplayer. And if that is not bad enough, the controls are…bad to put it nicely.

My rating: 2/5 fun at first, bad at best.

To be honest, this was my first Metal Gear. I liked it. I had no idea what anybody was talking about half the time, but I wasn’t really paying attention. The game had a unique style of play that let you change you character based on who is on your team. You build your team by going into enemy bases are abducting their soldiers. Different kinds of soldiers are good for different things. There are demolition experts and grenadiers and snipers and all those guys. You can take the soldiers you gain in single player and use them in multi player, which is great for getting the edge you might need to go against some of the better players. The ability to choose your missions and locations gives you a real sense of gorilla warfare; that I think is the best part of the game.

My rating: 5/5 There are so many ways to play it…

Uh…I didn’t really play this one, I made an ISO for a friend and tested it.

Imagine GTA: Vice City with minor differences in the cities, plus portability. There is a business feature where you take over rival gangs’ safe houses and start businesses there. But not the Mom 'n Pop type, think lone sharks and robberies.

My rating: 4/5 Solid GTA game that will entertain the masses, until they get a better game.

I didn’t play much of this, but from what I remember it is an RTS. It was fun.

My rating: It was fun.

Next Time, or when I get done playing GTA4: Marvel Imperfects, A game with japanese characters that I can not read, SWBattlefront 2: the better battlefront, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, and some other stuff.

The whole point is: your memory card is not of interest.

To anyone.

Go write this shit on Livejournal, not an internet forum. Nobody cares.

Actually, the whole point is to start conversations about the games on it.
