Emotional, or Whiney Punk Rock… It’s a music genre.
Emo is a subculture that revolves around a so called “punk” subgenre (although emo isn’t punky at all). It is called emo for “emotionally charged music,” but since most music has emotion in it, its just another stupid label. Emo kids generally wear black horn-rimmed glasses and sweaters. Emo MUSIC is basically a bunch of people crying about their relationships.
So it’s like every other music genre except it’s populated by Harry Potter lookalikes. Nice.
