And I’m getting a job this summer so I can save up for my future, so I have no time for such things. Now, if you could make it next year somewhere around here (preferably Texas), then who knows…I might be able to even drive then.
Of course, one of us might be millionares some day…so who knows.
Cost is a major issue, I want to finish upgrading PCs first (got all new parts except the case CPU and board) and…I have other things I’ll need money for first, so it all depends how much I can hoard in how little time.

Well… Maybe next year I can consider the idea, after I take care of some pending matters that prevent me from traveling right now. First of all, reaching a certain age will probably give me more maneuvering space. Not many people are aware of my plans, but I want to be able to travel wherever I wish without having to rely on my parents or having to ask them for permission.
I should like to attend, but I have chosen not to do so. Although I probably could afford the airfare, it would exhaust my savings. I need to save money for graduate school at this point in time. At the moment, I am still unemployed, too, so I need to focus on finding some kind of work.
In the future, however, if I were to be accepted into a graduate school in England and establish myself there, I could attend.
Well, I would go, for it not be for the following reasons:
- I’m not God yet
- I’m Not Godly rich yet
- I don’t have a way of getting that far
& - Don’t you think that RPGC should find a way of making money so they can have a convention or something? Just throwing ideas around fo rthe future.
RPGC already has to make money to run itself, and it requires a fair amount from what I understand. Getting that isn’t the easiest thing sometimes, so how would we make enough to pay for a bunch of people from around the world to get together?
I’m not trying to put your concept down - people getting together is a nifty thing. I guess I’m just being more practical than anything else.

If we ever manage to turn this site profitable, it will go to server costs and everything, then to pay off everyone who pumped money into the site (mostly Merlin), then various upgrades for the server and whatnot, and finally we will put the remainder of the money aside in case the profits ever stop.
Of course, this is never gonna happen, but meh.
Wertigon, it sounds like it might be pretty cool. But I have a few small problems:
a) I don’t know what I’ll be doing then, might be on holiday.
b) I don’t have any money, or at least none I can spend on something like this.
c) I don’t think my parents would be ok with it.
d) I don’t like big groups, especially for extened periods of time. I prefer my own company, and my privatity.
