I have this, lets say “friend” who Pyscho and I call Hanley (his last name). Anyway, we both like to fuck with Hanley a lot, since well, he is basicly a big fat drunken dumbass who plays counterstrike all day. Well, anyway, he got a little mad at us,and said he was going to hax0r into my computer and destroy it. He then sent me this link:
Yeah he’s Wade. I just want to know if i should be the least bit worried about this file. I have a really good firewall on my computer, but it wouldn’t be very cool if my computer was destroed by a fat kid who likes counterstrike to much.
He should be the one that’s worried… by their conversation I have a suspicion that this “sp0keh” probably is a trojan virus and he’d be an idiot to run these kinds of files on his computer.
I think he’s just trying to scare you by saying he’s got ‘sporkeh’ (Whatever it is). If I were you, I’d show him just how stupid he really is, because with that file he sends he gives you the URL for ‘sporkeh’ too. So if you spork him before he sporks you, boom.
Okay, I read up some more on this “sporkeh”. Apparently it is a trojan virus, and you can get it through executing a file in a browser or in his case, downloading it and then running it. The only known way right now to get rid of it is by reformatting. It prevents you from running apps by corrupting one of your system files.
Just be glad Tench, it makes us seem like English majors. Teachers even.
And as long as you aren’t stupid and actually download the thing and run it, you got little to worry about. The same is true for all viruses and trojans.
